Art in the Park, an annual summer tradition in Rutland, Vermont, is back this year despite ongoing construction in the area. The event, organized by the Chaffee Art Center, will take place in Main Street Park on August 14 and 15.
Despite the challenges posed by construction in the park, organizers are determined to make sure that visitors can still enjoy the art and activities that Art in the Park has to offer. The event will feature over 100 artists and vendors, showcasing a wide variety of art forms including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more.
In addition to the art vendors, there will also be live music, food vendors, and activities for children, making Art in the Park a fun outing for the whole family. Visitors will have the opportunity to support local artists and purchase unique, handcrafted items.
The Chaffee Art Center has been hosting Art in the Park for over 60 years, making it one of the longest-running art festivals in Vermont. The event is a celebration of the vibrant arts community in Rutland and provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work to a wider audience.
Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing construction in Main Street Park, organizers are excited to bring Art in the Park back to Rutland and continue the tradition of celebrating art and creativity in the community.
