Vermont Ski Resorts Prepare for 2025 NCAA Championships on the Slopes


The University of Vermont Catamounts are gearing up for the 2025 NCAA Championships in Etna and Hanover, New Hampshire, hosted by Dartmouth. Vermont is one of the five teams to qualify a full 12-skier team for this year’s championship. The alpine events will take place at The Skiway on Wednesday, March 5 and Friday, March 7, while the nordic events will be held at Oak Hill on Thursday, March 6 and Saturday, March 8. The action will be streamed live for free at NCAA.com.

Justine Clément and Finn Sweet were named Week Six EISA Skiers of the Week after impressive performances at the EISA Championships hosted by UNH. Clément secured a win in the GS and a third-place finish in the slalom, while Sweet placed 5th in the 7.5k classic race and 4th in the 15k skate mass start.

The Catamounts will be aiming for their seventh NCAA title, with Vermont and Dartmouth being the only eastern schools to have ever claimed the crown. Vermont has a history of success in skiing, with top-three finishes at the NCAA championships seven times and a total of 6 NCAA team championships, 73 individual national champions, 419 All-American citations, and 40 EISA Championships in program history.
