A Florida teacher and an elementary school principal were charged in connection with a house party where minors were drinking, including a teenager who needed medical treatment. Body camera footage showed the scene that led to the arrests of Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan and Karly Anderson. Police were called to Hill-Brodigan’s home in Cocoa Beach where around 100 juveniles were present. One teenager was found so intoxicated that medical assistance was required. Anderson identified herself as a teacher at Roosevelt Elementary and appeared to be drunk during the incident. Both Anderson and Hill-Brodigan were suspended by Brevard Public Schools. The Superintendent expressed disappointment in the incident. Hill-Brodigan is facing charges of child neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and holding an open house party. Anderson is charged with disorderly conduct and disorderly intoxication. Both women are out on bond and court records did not indicate their plea. Hill-Brodigan’s attorney stated they are investigating the matter, while Anderson’s attorney claims she had no involvement in the party and returned to find students leaving when informed about the party.
