Vermont Businesses Invited to Showcase at The Big E
West Springfield, MA – New England’s largest fair, The Big E, is set to return from September 12th to 28th, and Vermont businesses are encouraged to seize this opportunity to showcase their products at the Vermont Building on the Avenue of States. This year features two special events designed for local vendors: Vermont Day on September 20th and Harvest New England Day on September 26th.
Vermont Day attracts significant crowds, with over 180,000 attendees last year, making it a prime event for local entrepreneurs to present their Vermont-made products. Additionally, vendors and artisans are invited to demonstrate their crafts, enhancing audience engagement and brand visibility.
Harvest New England Day focuses on a farmer’s market-style experience, spotlighting food and fiber producers from across the region. This presents an excellent chance for Vermont businesses to expand their reach and connect with new consumers.
Applications for participation in both events are due by June 1st. Interested vendors should apply soon to secure their spot.
In related news, the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets has released a pivotal report on the dairy industry, highlighting its annual economic impact of $5.4 billion, a significant increase from $2.6 billion a decade ago. This growth underscores the importance of dairy farmers and related industries in sustaining Vermont’s economy.
Furthermore, the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund has launched the Forest Business Accelerator 2025, aimed at supporting startups in the forest and wood sector through comprehensive training and industry connections.
