Green Bay’s MeatFest Returns with Food, Fun, and Competitions
Green Bay is gearing up for its much-anticipated annual MeatFest, presented by Pelkin’s Smokey Meat Market, at The Resch Expo in Capital Credit Union Hall A on May 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event promises to deliver a day filled with delectable food, exciting competitions, and entertaining activities for attendees.
General admission tickets are $16.50 for adults, $8 for ages 13-17, and $11 for military and first responders, while VIP Early Entry tickets are available for $22 for adults and $16.50 for military. Children under 12 can enter for free. Tickets can be purchased online.
This year’s MeatFest will feature over 50 food and drink vendors offering complimentary samples, including popular names like All Things Wagyu and Mission BBQ. Four food trucks—Maldonados Food Truck, J Dogz Street Food and Catering, Dead Oak BBQ, and Fundae Scoops—will serve heartier meals. Additionally, those aged 21 and older can enjoy free samples from drink vendors, such as Ole Smoky and Good Boy Vodka at the Bourbon Bar.
Attendees can watch live cooking demonstrations every hour, featuring dishes from local chefs, including maple sriracha chicken wings. The day will also include a kids cooking competition, hosted by award-winning chef Ace Champion, where young chefs will create signature grilled cheeses in a "Chopped"-style format.
