Galen and Jill Jones, who have owned the company since 2009, are preparing for retirement and emphasize the importance of preserving the integrity of the beloved brand.

Crowley Cheese maintains its original, time-honored recipe, which has garnered acclaim globally. Throughout the 20th century, the volume of cheese shipments from Crowley was so significant that the local post office operated directly from the farm. Today, Crowley’s cheddar can be found nationally and in select retailers across Vermont and the Northeast.
While the core recipe has remained intact, the company’s product line has grown. Crowley offers six aging levels and a dozen flavored varieties, expanding its offerings to include cheese made from both Holstein and A2 Jersey cow milk.
