Phish Announces Long-Awaited Return to Hampton Coliseum in 2025
HAMPTON, Va. – Iconic jam band Phish is set to return to the Hampton Coliseum for a series of three shows from September 19 to 21, 2025. This announcement marks the end of the band’s longest hiatus from the venue in its 40-year journey; their last performance at the Coliseum was in 2018.
Phish, consisting of four members from Vermont, has built a devoted fan base over the years, returning to the Hampton Roads area for 21 performances since 1995, with notable stops in Portsmouth and Virginia Beach. The band’s acclaimed 1998 shows are featured in the “Hampton Comes Alive” Box set, illustrating their deep connection to the venue.
The Coliseum holds a special place in Phish lore, as it was the site of their comeback in 2009 after a nearly five-year break, famously starting their set with the explosive “Fluffhead.” This performance solidified Hampton’s status as a legendary stop on their tour.
Phish is known for their unique performances, with no two shows ever the same. Recently, they achieved the remarkable feat of selling out 13 consecutive nights at Madison Square Garden without repeating a song, setting a high expectation for their return to Hampton.
Fans can now submit requests for concert tickets via a lottery system at tickets.phish.com, which will remain open until noon on Monday. General ticket sales will commence on Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m.
