Dynapower Launches Innovative PowerSkid™ Solution for Renewable Energy Applications
SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. — Dynapower, a subsidiary of Sensata Technologies, has unveiled its latest product, the MV Integrated PowerSkid™, designed for medium-voltage applications in the renewable energy and green hydrogen sectors. This pre-assembled, pre-tested system facilitates rapid installation, minimizing timelines and risks associated with large-scale utility projects, data centers, and energy storage systems.
The PowerSkid™ combines Dynapower’s efficient CPS-2500 three-level converters—its fifth-generation MW-scale inverters—and a medium-voltage step-up transformer, all housed in a compact ISO container. This streamlined approach not only optimizes installation efficiency but also ensures high uptime for critical applications like high-voltage electrolyzers and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
According to Dr. Chris Dennison, Dynapower’s Product Line Manager, “The CPS-2500 converters provide exceptional power density and quick responsiveness, making them ideal for diverse applications, including data centers and power-to-X projects.”
