U-32 Dominates D-II Track and Field State Meet for Championship Sweep
BURLINGTON – The U-32 Raiders made a powerful statement at the Division II track and field state championship, securing an impressive sweep in both boys and girls categories. With a stellar team performance, the Raiders showcased their depth and talent, with standout athletes achieving personal bests throughout the competition.
The Raiders’ boys team clinched the title, driven by outstanding individual efforts. Notably, junior sprinter Alex Cole delivered a remarkable performance, winning both the 100m and 200m sprints while contributing to the victory in the 4×100 relay. Coach Mark Thompson praised Cole’s dedication and ability to thrive under pressure, noting that his time in the 200m set a new state record.
