The restaurant’s unique menu features cheeky burger names like “Death Penalty,” “Ambulance Chaser,” and “Hung Jury,” all crafted to honor the late Larry Jones, a beloved local attorney and magician.
General Manager Lissa Ramos, who has been with Sidebar since its inception, highlights the “Ambulance Chaser” as the standout favorite among patrons. Composed of a mix of certified Angus beef, bourbon barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and fried tobacco onions on a toasted brioche bun, the burger promises a consistently delightful experience for diners.
Sidebar’s reputation has thrived on its commitment to quality, delivering the same beloved flavors year after year, even as many nearby establishments have come and gone. To further engage with customers, the restaurant rolls out a special burger each month, with details posted on a chalkboard outside.
In addition to its delicious burgers, Sidebar boasts various appetizers, salads, and a diverse range of fries, including Kentucky Hot Brown-inspired options.
