Tragic ATV Accident Claims Life of Granville Man
Granville, VT – A 35-year-old man has tragically lost his life following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident on Wednesday morning, according to state police. The incident occurred around 7:43 a.m. on North Hollow Road, where Jonathan Belisle, of Hancock, was found gravely injured at the scene.
Emergency responders pronounced Belisle dead shortly after their arrival. Preliminary investigations reveal that he was operating a Kawasaki Prairie ATV northbound when he veered off the left side of the road and collided head-on with a tree. Despite wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, the impact proved fatal.
While police have cited rainy weather conditions as a contributing factor, they have not definitively established whether the weather caused the vehicle to leave the roadway. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities appealing to the public for information regarding the incident.
