The duo’s plans quickly fell through, leading them to Bellows Falls. Shortly thereafter, police received reports of a robbery at a local TD Bank, where authorities later revealed Boisvert had brandished a Bowie knife, threatened bank employees, and fled with cash.
The couple’s actions sparked a police chase that extended from New Hampshire into Massachusetts, highlighting the severity of their offenses.
Both Boisvert and Cox have been charged with serious offenses and now face a minimum of 20 years in prison. They are set to be sentenced in September, bringing closure to a troubling chapter for the local communities involved.
