Fayston Tragedy: Pedestrian Killed in Collision with Driver from Florida
FAYSTON, Vt. – A tragic accident occurred Saturday afternoon on Mansfield Road, resulting in the death of 74-year-old Thomas Studley from Fayston. The Vermont State Police report that the incident took place just after 1 p.m., when 19-year-old Noah Kirson, hailing from Winter Park, Florida, lost control of his vehicle and struck Studley, who was walking along the road.
Emergency responders pronounced Studley dead at the scene, while Kirson escaped injury. Following the accident, authorities charged Kirson with Gross Negligent Operation with Death Resulting. He is currently being held at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday to face the charges.
